2018 Keynote Speaker – Nate Pritchard
Nate Pritchard is a native of Caldwell County, NC. He grew up working in his family’s businesses. He attended the Patterson School and graduated from Hibriten High School. He has owned and managed two small businesses. After international work in the music industry, he took on planning and research for Edward Jones, then for Wells Fargo.
More recently he has worked as a research analyst in the area of fiscal policy at the Cato Institute in Washington, DC. Nate received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina –Greensboro. He earned an MBA at Wake Forest University and is currently completing a PhD in Public Policy and Political Economics, focusing on Urban Policy. His research interests include: poverty; housing policy; intentional communities; development economics; self-sufficiency; and entrepreneurship. He lives in Maryland.
